Senior Family Law Paralegal

 

Four Point Legal is seeking a full-time senior family law paralegal to join our hard-working team.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or training in paralegal work (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • At least 3 years of law firm experience in family law.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a variety of recipients of all types and backgrounds.

  • Competent research skills, including the ability to know when to “figure it out” and when to seek guidance.

  • Ability to focus and prioritize when faced with demanding situations.

  • Computer proficiency in basic business and legal programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.

  • No ego, we work and function as a team, with everyone pitching in where needed.

 

your duties:

  • Communicate regularly with clients and other professionals regarding all aspects of a family law matter with confidence and professionalism.

  • Review, organize, prepare and summarize discovery, including creation of excel spreadsheets and income summaries.

  • Assist attorneys with mediation, deposition and trial preparation.

  • Assist attorneys with memorandums or motions.

  • Perform other special projects and duties as assigned by the attorneys.
